Saga Recording is a recording studio & music production facility based in Vancouver, BC, owned and operated by producer Michael Nowak.
A large part of the studio's clientele are singer/songwriters and vocalists because of its reputation for high quality vocal work. The studio's world-class design was conceived by industry leading acoustician Russ Berger (Sony Music, MasterMix, Paragon) and features a modern client-friendly approach to recording and mixing music with a warm, relaxed vibe designed to enhance the creative process.
The spacious 13' x 22' control room has precision-tuned acoustics and uses multiple monitoring choices for reliable results that translate properly outside of the studio. Glass all the way down to the floor connects the control room to the 10' x 15' live room, which is acoustically adjustable for variable ambiences, plus there's a fully-wired isolation booth with glass-panel doors for clear visual communication between the other rooms. All areas are connected to a Hear Technologies personal monitoring system which lets each musician dial up their own 8-channel custom headphone cue mix via individual mixers, giving them exactly what they need to hear to perform at their best.
Up to 255 discrete audio tracks are available at mixdown, and a large selection of microphones, preamps, outboard gear and instruments are available for use.
Saga Recording is a member and supporter of MusicBC, ASCAP, The Gospel Music Association of Canada, The Songwriters Association of Canada, and The Canadian Independent Recording Artists' Association.
